Mitzvah Mania Showcase

T'DA Design's Mitzvah Mania booth was a depiction of a teen lounge utilizing vibrant cycling colors backlighting the draped walls with sparkly bead curtain hanging behind the snazzy sofa. Lighted acrylic cocktail tables were featured atop a glitzy holographic dance floor. Pretty tropical florals finished the tabletops.

MIC Conference

On Wednesday, March 18th the T'DA Design sales and design team attended the Meetings Industry Council (MIC) of Colorado’s 9th Annual Educational Conference and Trade Show. T’DA Design was a Gold Sponsor and exhibitor for the conference.

Our booth depicted a Cowboy Chic setting. The backdrop was a burgundy velour drape adorned with a gold chiffon swag and a rustic sign. A brown leather sofa embellished with cowboy inspired print pillows, a lounge table set on a cowhide rug, fronted the drape. Barrels and wagon wheels finished the look.

Just In

Enhancing the ambiance of the out door pavilion at The Sanctuary we hung white paper lanterns, some with cascading satin ribbon. The lanterns were suspended from tivoli lights that cast a romantic glow.

Fantasy Ice Palace

On a white spandex covered banquet table with up lights glowing from beneath, escort cards provided by the family were displayed atop sprinkled snow.

White and shimmering drape created a snowy night scene as a backdrop for the stage enhanced with lighted white birch trees. Large snowflakes were suspended overhead while icicle inspired fabric panels hung throughout the room.

Sparkling silver curly willow bursting from a collar of white roses set in icy crystal gels, illuminated with a blue light were displayed in clear vessels atop crisp blue satin linens. Chairs were covered in white spandex accented with a beautiful silver band. Glittery numbered snowflakes identified each tabel.

An icicle lighted sign; “Glacier Lounge” defined the kid’s lounge at Julia’s Bat Mitzvah. This area featured two sofa vignettes that included couches; low tables, ottomans, a rug and floor based lighted cubes. Snowflakes and lighted white birch trees trimmed with snow decorated the space.

2009 ICON Gala Awards Finalist

We are excited to announce that T’DA Design & Productions is a 2009 ICON Gala Awards finalist for Best Decoration Design for M.A.S.H Bash, published in Confetti Magazine (Confetti Magazine is an annual supplement of Colorado Expression Magazine that comes out this time each year).

Set against the backdrop of the existing exhibits, funny and kitschy vignettes filled the space at Wings Over the Rockies. Included were the officers’ club as the VIP area, mess tents, hospital wards which served as buffets, and Rosie’s Bar. Facades of the offers’ quarters, complete with laundry hung out to dry, backed the stage. Lawn chairs were scattered about and flamingos popped up in unexpected places. Centerpieces occupied beakers, helmets, and tin cups as opposed to traditional glassware.

Photography of our Moroccan Nights event also appeared in this issue.
A Moroccan-inspired celebration featured a custom-designed dais on a rug-covered stage, where the bride and groom rested upon a silk covered bench. Rich jewel tones and textures from drapery to the linens enhanced the atmosphere. To further evoke a flavor of Morocco, we incorporated palms, lanterns, Moroccan-styled rugs, exquisite silk pillows and exotic florals.

70's Dance Party

We had another wonderful opportunity of working with The Arrangers on designing a 70's dance party. As guests entered the dance party an eye-catching holographic dance floor in rainbow hues enticed the dancers. Suspended above the dance floor was a shimmering retro disco ball. The walls throughout the space were washed with water effect uplighting and various 70's inspired gobo lights. Encircling the dance floor lighted acrylic cubes served as cocktail tables topped with disco ball votives. It was a great party and the guests had a blast!
